On April 4 – 5, 2019, Brown University and IE University welcome thought leaders from around the world to the 10th edition of “Reinventing Higher Education”, a conference designed to examine issues set to impact academia, government, and the private sector, as their future workforce continues to be buffeted by change. For the first time, this year’s edition will take place in the United States, on the Brown University campus in Providence, Rhode Island. The Conference will engage key stakeholders to promote a rich discussion on the future of higher education and ways academia, government and the private sector can work together to build the human capital of tomorrow.
The event will focus on a key question: How can higher education institutions, governments, and the private sector address the needs of a changing workforce, and how can they create collaborative synergies among all three groups to create more efficient, equitable, and effective models for educational delivery?
Launched in 2010 at IE University, Reinventing Higher Education is a symposium organized in collaboration with the IE Foundation. The overarching aim of the Conference is to provide a platform where university administrators, policy makers, entrepreneurs and top managers, academics, student representatives and media experts can meet to discuss the current status and future evolution of Higher Education (HE), and debate the direction research, learning, governance and management of universities should now take.
