The 9th International Conference

IE University, Madrid, March 5-6, 2018

Launched in 2010 and now in its 9th edition, Reinventing Higher Education returned to IE University’s Madrid campus, following two previous editions held in Chile (2016) and in Mexico (2017).

On March 5-6, experts from Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and the United States discussed the global impact of higher education and the challenges it faces in times of anti-globalization measures.

The symposium, organized with the support of IE Foundation and British Council, brought together university administrators, policy makers, entrepreneurs and top managers, academics, student representatives and media experts to discuss the status and future evolution of Higher Education (HE), and to debate the direction research, learning, governance and management of universities should take.

The 8th International Conference

TEC de Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico, December 11-12, 2017

For the second consecutive year IE University, Universidad del Desarrollo, and Tecnológico de Monterrey, came together to create a space for reflection and discussion on the future of Higher Education.

The seminar “RHE: The University of the Future” was a Latin American edition of the conference held annually by IE for the previous 7 years in Spain and on this occasion on December 11 and 12 in Monterrey City, Mexico, forming part of the 4th International Conference on Educational Innovation, “Designing the Future of Education” run by Tec de Monterrey.

The seminar focused on addressing the challenging scenario facing higher education, with a special focus on the impact of an increasingly globalized world undergoing profound technological and social change.

The 7th International Conference

Universidad del Desarrollo, Santiago, Chile, November 24-25, 2016

IE University, Universidad del Desarrollo and Tecnológico de Monterrey, came together to create a space for reflection and discussion on the future of Higher Education.

The seminar “RHE: The University of the Future” was a Latin American edition of the conference held annually by IE for the previous 7 years in Spain, and which took place on November 24- 25, in Santiago, Chile.

This 3rd edition was focused on #Edupreneurship: New Species & Avenues to Differentiation in Higher Education.
