Lusine has worked in the intersection of tech and innovation policy and is interested in furthering collaboration between government, academia and the private sector. She is currently the Assistant to the President for Special Projects at Brown University. Previously, she served in the Obama Administration as a Policy Advisor at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy . Prior to this, she was appointed by the President as Special Advisor to Chief Information Officer at the Department of Energy, where she led efforts for CIO’s congressional engagements on cybersecurity. Before this, Lusine was an Associate at the White House Office of Presidential Personnel, where she researched and identified nominees for Presidential boards and commissions focused on science, technology, business and international trade. Lusine graduated from Brown University with a B.S. in Human Biology.
